Dr That You Can Trust
Dr. Karthik Sunki is a post-graduate in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad. “Healthy skin, healthy life” is a credo that our doctor wholeheartedly supports.
As the greatest organ in our bodies, the skin requires special attention and care from us at all times. Not only does it serve aesthetic functions and as a home for vital appendages like hair, nails, and sweat glands, but it also serves as a physical barrier, making it a crucial part of the body’s defence system. In addition to this, it can serve as a marker for underlying illnesses. Therefore, having adequate knowledge of our skin is of the biggest importance.
Dr. Karthik was involved in an accident in 2011 and suffered a spinal cord injury which did not stop him from pursuing what he loves and strives for, gives us the insight of his interest and curiousity about the subject. Dr. Karthik worked in a primary health centre for two and a half years before studying for post graduation
Throughout the course of Dr. Karthik’s postgraduate education, he participated in a number of conferences at the state, zonal, national, and international levels. Got trained in paediatric dermatology, at Gandhi Medical College in Secunderabad.

- During the years 2018-2020, Dr. Karthik participated in national conferences and presented three papers that won awards.
• Dr. Karthik Participated in the “Asia-Pacific Dermatology and Aesthetic conference” in Singapore in 2019, where he delivered a presentation orally.
• A cross-sectional research on hand manifestations during the COVID-19 pandemic was the topic of the paper that was presented at the “Asia derma conference 2021.”
• Dr. Karthik participated in the “24th World Congress of Dermatology,” which took place in Milan, Italy in 2019, and he presented a poster.
• Presented a poster in “25th World Congress of Dermatology” which was held at Singapore in July 2023.
• Received the prestigious scholarship from “World congress of Dermatology” for the year 2023
• Dr. Karthik Participated in the Presentation of Nine Posters at Various Zonal, National, and State Conferences Between 2019 and 2023
• Dr. Karthik Have thus far published 8 papers that are completely original.
• Dr. Karthik Attended the Telangana state conference known as CUTICON 2021, where he gave a presentation titled “Diagnostic Challenges in Pediatric Dermatosis.”
• Dr. Karthik’s research was selected for presentation at annual meeting of the American Association of Dermatology (AAD), which was held in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States in 2022.
• Dr. Karthik is dedicated to bringing attention to skin issues and providing treatment for them, to the very best of his ability, knowledge, and experience. He started Soumya’s skin clinic in April 2022 at his clinic. This clinic is rated as the best skin care clinic at LB Nagar. Dr. Karthik has always been expanding his knowledge. He is well equipped with current & relevant information in order to give his customers access to the most effective treatment alternatives.
